Graduate of the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, Swann Arlaud began filming as a child for cinema and television. His film credits include Les Émotifs anonymes by Jean-Pierre Améris, Michael Kohlhaas by Arnaud des Pallières, Ni le ciel ni la terre by Clément Cogitore, Les Anarchistes by Élie Wajeman, and more recently Petit Paysan by Hubert Charuel for which he won the César for Best Actor, and Grâce à Dieu by François Ozon for which he won the César for Best Supporting Actor.
