RUDY DE ANDA

En 2020, Rudy De Anda quitte la Californie pour la première fois de sa carrière et se dirige vers l’Est. Quelque part à l’arrière du camion, parmi les cartons et les bagages, se trouve un disque presque terminé. En arrivant à Chicago, Rudy a rapidement trouvé les dernières pièces de son deuxième album, Closet Botanist, paru en avril 2023 chez Colemine Records. Closet Botanist ne s’éloigne pas totalement des racines psych-rock de Rudy, Rudy s’y inspire directement de The Velvet Underground et The Kinks. L’album a été enregistré à Austin, au Texas, au studio Electric Deluxe. Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas) a participé à la production et à l’enregistrement du disque.

In 2020, Rudy De Anda moved his homebase out of California for the first time. He was headed East. Somewhere in the back of the U-Haul, among the boxes and baggage, was a mostly finished record. Upon arriving in Chicago, Rudy quickly found the final pieces of his new LP, Closet Botanist, out on April 28, 2023, on Colemine Records.
